Opening in June 2026, Erebero Hills will be the ultimate retreat for exploring the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest—home to over half of the world’s mountain gorilla population and among the planet’s most biodiverse regions.
The name “Erebero,” meaning “a place where you can see far,” perfectly captures the lodge’s breathtaking design inspired by the rolling hills of its surroundings. Guests will enjoy sweeping forest views from all eight forest-view suites, each featuring private decks and expansive, glass-fronted interiors. Terms & Conditions
Prepayment
- A 30% deposit will be required to reserve the booking at least 35 days before the check-in date.
- The balance should be settled at least 65 days before the trip date.
Child Policy
- Erebero Hills admits children aged 5 years and above.
- Children aged 5-18 years pay 50% of the adult sharing rate.
- Children below 12 must share a room with an adult.
- 19 years and above pay the applicable adult rate.
- Gorilla Trekking is applicable for persons aged 15 years and above.
Cancelation
- For cancelations and amendments made from confirmation of the trip up to 65 days before arrival, the 20% deposit is retained as a booking fee and will not be refunded.
- For cancelations or amendments made between 64 to 36 days before arrival, 50% of the invoice amount will be charged
- For cancelations or amendments made 30 days or less before arrival, and in case of a NO-SHOW, 100% of the invoice amount will be charged.
- Gorilla permits: Gorilla permits are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be modified.
